The necessity of peanut sheller lubrication

In the preparation of peanut sheller before use, check whether the fasteners are tightened, whether the rotating parts are flexible and whether there is lubricating oil in the bearings. So, what's the need for lubricants here?

Reduce wear. This is the key role. The lubrication of the equipment comes from the friction and wear of the equipment. The friction and wear of the equipment will not only cause the aging and failure of the equipment, but also cause serious equipment accidents. Lubricant between friction surfaces can support the wear caused by hard particle wear, surface rust, undercut and tear between metal surfaces, etc.

Reduce friction coefficient. The friction coefficient can be reduced, the friction resistance can be maintained and the power consumption can be reduced by adding lubricant between two surfaces of relative friction to form a friction reducing layer of lubricating oil film.

Lower the temperature. Lubricant can reduce friction coefficient and support the generation of friction heat. We know that the work done by the running machine to overcome the friction is all transformed into heat, part of which is diffused from the body, and part of which is constantly raising the temperature of the machine. With the system, the heat generated by friction can be taken away, and the temperature can be reduced accurately, so that the machine can operate within the required temperature range.

Prevent corrosion and protect metal surface. The mechanical surface inevitably contacts with the surrounding media (such as air, water, water vapor, corrosive gas and liquid, etc.) to rust and damage the metal surface of the machine.

Cleaning and flushing. The wear particles or foreign media produced by the friction pair in motion will accelerate the friction surface and wear. By using the fluidity of liquid lubricant, the abrasive particles between the friction surfaces can be taken away, so as to reduce abrasive wear.
